I think Abigail is about a young girl who gets preyed upon by burglars but the burglars soon find out that they're the ones to be preyed upon by the young girl who's a vampire.

Abigail was great. A movie I liked even though it's not a classic is John Landis's Innocent Blood. like you Fright Night is a film I truly love.

Thank you Jim. I really enjoyed the original Salem's Lot. There was a time when tv really took chances. It was a great time. An excellent version of Dracula. Badaham was really hitting movies out of the part at that time. I did love Francis Ford's Dracula. It's a really great version. Even an edited version is still great. There's a scene in an underground metro station where it has the most number of zombies (at the time) I'd ever seen in one scene. Also lots of great effects. Yes it's a little silly and the nude vampire is very sexy but still a good solid movie. Carpenter's take is a fun popcorn movie. Agreed about Woods. I need to watch 30 Days. I've only seen pieces of it. I didn't like From Dusk to Dawn at all. I never saw Sundown. Renfield was good except for Awkafina. What We Do is also good fun. I've seen parts of Abigail and it was good. The Lost Boys is good. Fright Night is fantastic. Totally agreed. Near Dark is good too. Have a great weekend!

Excellent collection of Vampire films Jim, Fright Night is also my favourite vampire movie, What do you think of the sequel? Abigail i thought was great and i do think they need a sequel before the actress gets any older. Thanks buddy.

I enjoyed the sequel but I didn’t love it, I haven’t seen it in at least 30 years. Abigail was a blast.👍

Have you seen Let Me In? If you haven't, you should as it's a pretty decent vampire flick. There's a foreign version and an american version.

Stokers Dracula was a bit of a low for me and nowhere near as good as what Lee came out with. I'm a big fan of the Hammer Horror series as I think they got the tone and the look perfect. Van Helsing I thought was a good Vampire flick and the Lost Boys was so well done that it actually worked in modern times. for me, the Lost Boys and the Werewolf in London were brilliant because they got an old folklore tale to work in modern times to make it believable. I can't remember the whole film about Vampires where Bowie stars in it so I'll have to rematch that one. I also want to watch the really old vampire flicks from the 30s up to the 60s. The best vampire flick that I've seen was the Satanic Rites of Dracula. And I don't normally like Vampire movies mixed with comedy but I did like Fright Night if you've seen that film at all?

@@jimtatro6550 Yes, it was well done and has a lovely charm about it. The comedy actually works and I love the almost suburban feel to it.
