why bother removing it? Although it sucks, its too small to fit a big new large coaster in its spot. Only a kiddee coaster and a flat ride or too. KD figures better keep that diversity of having a stand up rather than another ordinary kiddee coaster.

I hate this ride SO much! Been on it yesterday, June 29th, in 5th car, and it was a KILLER! My shoulders, and ears hurt for three minutes after. KD should scrap this one and put a B&M invert in its place. A B&M invert is what this park needs, or even better, a B&M wing rider! I don't care if the invert is another Batman clone, but it would be for the good of the park and guests. Just dispose of this burden and brain killer we call Shockwave. i remember when some drunk dude was able to get out of the harness and jump off and killed himself. i like the idea that it was a stand up coaster and you hardly see those, but they always smashed that bicycle seat so hard up my nuts i could barley walk for the rest of the day, probably wouldn't be so bad if it wasent the roughest ride ive even been on, including wooden rides. glad they shut it down

If you bent your legs when the attendant adjusted the height of the restraint, you could have avoided smashing into the seat. I never hurt my crotch on Shockwave. Sadly, that didn't stop me from slamming into the restraints and bruising my ribs every time I rode it. Even with my defensive riding position, it was pretty hard to stay in place. I can't believe that people complained about Anaconda being rough with Shockwave in the park. Shockwave was far rougher. Although it was the roughest steel coaster I have ever ridden, it was very tolerable and quite enjoyable. I was sad to see it go! I know, I'm in the minority...

They really wouldn't let you do that? They never really had a problem with me slightly bending my legs. After riding a few particular wooden coasters, I don't really find any steel coaster to be that rough. I've always thought Anaconda was okay. It's one of the rougher Arrow loopers, but it has a few redeeming qualities for me. With that said, it's kind of meh compared to Busch Gardens Williamsburg's classic steel coaster, the Loch Ness Monster.

From what I've heard, it's the cheapest and easiest ride to maintain in the park. Such a shame since it's the worst one in the park imo. I went on this the last Saturday of Haunt and it left me a nice bruise on my hip.
