I couldn't tell you I've only done the two at this point. When I get back on to Yakuza 3, I'll try to figure it out and upload it.

tried it. it doesn't. The AI uses a different set of moves now when you attempt this. that said i am now stuck because i have no idea how shogi works.

i have terrible news. this does not work in the remaster. the move haruka makes in response is different D:

and I do mean the VERY FIRST MOVE

It should work because I did this on the remaster on ps4. Haruka has a few AI move sets and I haven't figured all of them out yet.
