The first strategy game I ever played. Man was I horrible at it lol. Always felt like this was the goriest Total War. There was nothing like scanning the land covered in blood. I remember being 12 years old and my mom wanted to take this game away because I'd copy the death rattle sounds and she was worried for me haha

I can't wait for this classic to be remastered... It won't appen anytime soon though, but I think it could be coming in a more distant future especially if rome 1 as the next medieval 2 remasters are gonna selling well

@@LeoAugustoRovin420 Yeah, i really wish that to happen at some point... Luckily, I think it will probably be coming in a more far future, but not anytime soon... Maybe in the next 3-5 years at the least IMHO, or later. That's my prediction. Do you agree? I think that Medieval 1 would be remastered first or maybe after Shogun, but more likely before shogun since it's more popular. Nevertheless, the next remastered edition will definitely be Medieval 2 since they released the mobile port for it, and then maybe Shogun 1, Medieval 1 and Empire in order.

Shogun 2, Rome and Medieval 2 are all better IMO. Keep the good stuff of this and improves in many areas. Mainly graphics

It will never be duplicated. Year 2000 was still the peak of gaming with such titles as: Deus Ex, Diablo 2 and Baldurs Gate 2. Different era...
