His humility is the morning dew on the grass of the outfield, present yet transient, a testament to the dawn of each day's opportunity, yet never claiming the land it refreshes. Ohtani deserves all the success! He always has clear goals and a plan to achieve them, ever since he was a primary student. I saw a japanese tv show about him since childhood to pro player, when he was a little kid he set out his main goal (if i remember right it's being MLB player), drew a 3x3 grid and wrote it in the middle square, then on the surrounding 8 squares he set out how he could achieve the main goal and these are the 1st set of subgoals. Then for each subgoal he drew another 3x3 square and repeat the planning process. How amazing! as a primary student to do this. So clear about what he wants, plan on it and works hard to achieve it.

I 🤔 thinks, according to Shohei's personality, The only moment when Shohei would be truly impressed or satisfied what he had done in his baseball career is likely after he would declare to retire from playing baseball professionals several decades later. In fact, Shohei told a reporter at interview that he couldn't feel his limits and there were so many more improvements and growing Shohei feels inside himself and Shohei can get betterment throughout his baseball career as soon as he keeps himself in good health!

@@TopWorldTalentHD Certainly we will witness Shohei is going to increase or invent more new pitches like what he suddenly induced the Two-seam sinker (Shohei increased the speed from 90+ to 100/101 inside the box last game after he watched the Yankees closer throwing a 100 sinker that was outside the box). In addition, Shohei would definitely try to improve his batting ability which he is not so satisfied this year due to the new non-flying official baseball especially Shohei wishes he can hit better during his pitching day.
