Damn dude, that second one was a killer looking tree! 😮 sorry to see that happen. The first one looks better the way you re worked it. I pause the video at 1:26. And just my 2 cents would be prune back the left side to where the brach starts going upward. Then on the right side maybe wire that bottom most branch toward the camera. Just a thought

I definitely plan on doing some trimming but not until it flowers. I just can't bring myself to cut the flowers off! I will certainly look at your suggestions when I'm ready to do some trimming

Sorry about the Azalea, trees die and hopefully we learn something so and we continue on with a little more knowledge than before...It did look spooky for Halloween...

I am new at bonsai and so far none of my trees have survived. But, I am doing better with each one. Optimistic about the azalea I recently started. Seeing that trees die even for the experienced is helpful.

You need a dwarf jade. They are the most resilient, forgiving material for bonsai that I know.
