After Arunita's entry in Indian Idol, large section of our population have hooked on to the olden goldies...Arunita must be given the due credits for reviving the old songs with such great perfection, elan, elegance, devotion, passion and excellence... You have written very nice. I must applaud. Only one thing which I don't like in your comment is that the legendary singers are not appreciating her openly. All the legendary singers and persons, Lata ji, Alka ji, Kumar Sanu, Udit ji, Neha ji (recent), A.R.Rahaman, Subhash Ghai, Hema Malini, Jitendra, Ekta Kapoor, etc have praised her. Particularly, for Lata ji and Subhash Ghai, Arunita has been brought into limelight. Go through all the episodes before Subhash Ghai. Mousam was first badla after standing ovation of Subhash Ghai. Most cases, judges were reluctant to give standing ovation, inspite of her superb singing like these days.

What I meant openly is that Lata ji had conveyed her appreciation particularly for Arunita through Vishal ji, which he downplayed with diplomacy and to keep the spirits of all the Contestants he said that Lata ji had appreciated all of them singing her songs and all were appreciated...instead Lata ji could have given a video call appreciation like Chitra ji...Asha ji has not uttered a word... Alka ji is relatively recent stalwart compared to Lata ji and Asha ji If they appreciate the Contestants openly through video call or in media, the extent of happiness will have no boundaries By the way ARR was very mild and choosy in his appreciation, never gave standing ovation for anyone Whatever it is, ultimately, janta decides the destiny of a singer becoming a great legend and Arunita deserves to be one 👏

The hesitation in appreciating the best talent is so evident that it gives us a strong feeling that the winners in these reality shows are pre decided and the shows are conducted in such a way that ultimately the chosen candidate of the makers of the show become the winner. Rest everything is for TRP. Wish Arunita turns every plot upside down through her sheer talent & makes life so very difficult for the makers that they are forced to declare her the winner!!!
