Been playing a lot of Syndra lately so happy to see this! Funnily enough, also been having the exact same issues you had this game of getting giga fed then having a rough time closing out cleanly due to the nature of solo queue and then ADCs being ADCs making it tough.

Shok by the way you can tell when syndra ball is expiring when it begins to glow. each skin has its own animation for when it starts to despawn.

Hey Shok, Idk if this is works but looks very likely and since you are all about learning just wanted to mention it. On 19:32 you could have hitted Rift's eye and I think the dmg is enough to kill it with an auto (I'm guessing like 4000 approx) And at 21:37 you don't understand why your team let them take mid turret and I'm just thinking you could've probably controlled that situation yourself and at that second time stamp the turret would've suffered just a little dmg not fully destroyed. Anyway, great video, I've been learning a lot with your content and seeing you lane against invis and roaming lanes with your full thought process out loud is super helpful. Thanks!

can you make us a video explaining when and on what champ should buy dark seal and when to upgrade it or sell it

Pretty much any AP champ should pick up a dark seal at some point in early game (whenever its convenient on base). Only sell when you're replacing for a much larger component (e.g. Stopwatch, Needlessly large rod etc). Upgrade it if you think you won't die/you're a gigachad

Just buy the null magic and sit on it, you can upgrade it later to banshee 2nd/maw 3rd if ur AD or just keep it in your inventory

What if ori matched banshees instead of trying to get voids which could make up to not buying mercs as well?Would it not nullify the value of you not buying more raw damage ?

If Ori matched banshee I'd probably build void instead of banshee (as long as I hadn't committed to the components) or otherwise I would've been forced to go void staff third. And yeah that'd be a good idea for her honestly given that we have triple ap

hey shok, can you explain why liandrys > ludens when you have a lot of ap on your team?

Basically because Luden's gives flat pen which isn't that valuable when the enemy team builds MR. So if you're expecting them to build MR (which they should if you have a lot of AP) stuff like ludens/sorcs is generally worse than liandry/cdr boots

imo Phase rush is a lot better in the current meta, situationally if they don't have threatening junglers/supps you can get away with other keystones

Thoughts on shadow flame rush? I've also seen many mid laners void rush second after mythic, even where enemy has little MR - thoughts?

Void for gold reduction so it's cheap now. Mythic boots shadow is pretty normal for most mages

shadowflame gives you a lot of flat pen, so you basically deal true damage to most of the enemies at the time you buy it (if you went luden's and sorcs) however it scales worse that void staff in the situations when the enemy can/will buy a lot of mr for example champions that can build wit's end and hexdrinker or if you have too much ap in your team so the choice between shadowflame and void staff is not that hard, you just have to analyze both team comps i believe void stuff outperforms shadowflame at around 55-60 mr and of course you have to take into consideration bonus damage to shields from shadowflame:)

Shadowflame is probably the best 2nd item when there's no other special condition (you need defensive or a void or some weird item like rylais or seraphs). Most of the time though you kinda need something else 2nd, at least in my games

You can sit on the mantle sometimes, but banshee is also pretty cheap so sometimes it can be worth upgrading

Hi shok a quick question: Is the MMR system ruined? Im playing on my smurf on silver 2 but with emerald mmr, I have 17 wins and 4 loses only, but recently I lost a game and I lost 18pl, I should've loss 5-8pl in that loss, Im not sure how MMR works anymore

Ever since they doubled the LP gains/losses it's rare to lose less than like 15 points. It's made up for getting gains of 30+ though

Tear is decent if you for some reason need a shield from getting executed, but Syndra is a long-range artillery and control mage to a large extent so you should never really be in a situation where Zhonya's or Banshee's isn't enough and both items are better on Syndra than Seraph's. Cosmic Drive is fun but I personally don't build it that much unless it's cloud soul and I wanna vroom across the rift like McQueen

I think it's good to buy tear if you have nothing else to buy but I don't think seraphs is that great on her. Or rather it's pretty good but you give up a lot of snowball potential getting there, cosmic drive is probably only good as maybe like a 5th/6th item where you aren't needing defensive items and just want more AP

I know Inspiration has a lot of very good runes, but i rarely see someone use Futures Market, is it that bad? Because i feel like the Value of the Rune is quite high.

It's not awful, I think it's mainly because it's competing with some other very powerful runes (for example if you can only take 2 in inspiration, most champs want cosmic + boots/stopwatch/demat/biscuits). There are probably champs that should take it over biscuits cause biscuits kinda suck imo but I really like demat so I take that a lot
