This song reminds me of my second-uncle who was imprisoned in the year 2005 for false allegations. Since then, it's barely 15 years now my uncle rotting in Kamiti Maximum prison in Kenya. He was detained while I was stepping in the upper primary school classes, std 4 and now am a grown man ready to settle for marriage. Prison tales. Prison is another hell in the world. Anyone who takes you to prison is a sorcerer. When you get out, marry her daughter as a pay back. Thanks to HE. Uhuru Kenyatta for announcing the presidential pardon. I'll meet my uncle this year 2020. Tears 😭

I just watched this hauntingly sad song/video about an hour ago on "Roga Roga", Fred Obachi Machoka's Saturday afternoon show on Citizen TV (Kenya). I know the song for decades but today along with the video it really really shook me, especially as I locked myself in my own needless, self-made, mental prison. Let us be grateful for freedom. That ageing man could have been me slaving away behind those prison bars at 54 yrs old, singing those sad lyrics and with the weight of a world of relatives and friends - and worst of all, my children. I am free. Thank You Lord God Almighty, for freedom. Please keep me in Your Power, Wisdom, Courage, Knowledge and all else that I need, to stay free and not misuse my freedom. I request You this on this last day of 2022, for me and on behalf of all who may desire the same, in The Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
