表現が満点取れたとして、あと７点しか取れない。ジャンプ一つで取れる点。(それって暗にバランス悪いって訴えてるよね？)でもルールの中でヤるのが競技だから頑張ると明言する昌磨君。頼もしい。昌磨君が今から新しいジャンプを取得するのは並大抵の事ではないと思う。今出来るジャンプを磨いてコンボ券を使いきる最高のプログラムを見せて欲しい。頑張れ昌磨くん。

Yes, that's what FS is for me. Artistry, beautiful elements and expressions, steps... I mean jumps look beautiful and spectacular but it's not only about the jumps :) It's not even 50/50 for me. And that's why I love Shoma's performances ❤

Congrats to Shoma! His coach Stephane Lambiel said in one of the interview - figure skating competitions should not be battles for quad jumps, they should be battles for beauty! ISU - will you consider to weight artistry more in your rules? You may even create a separate competition for the jumpers. A "figure skating" program should has plenty of artistry (50-50 between artistry and techniques is perfect!)

Thank you for the interview video, just it seems you edit answers of a few questions together, so if possible, maybe next time you can show what the questions are so we can get to know better what these answers are for, thank you! It will be the BEST if you can disclose the full press conference like before, especially big competitions like GPF, FOUR CONTINENT, EURO and WORLDS. It's meaningless to hold the press conference if skate fans can't get to know what medalists say and think. Thank you!

Es Injusto decir que porque YUZURU no esta,SHOMA Triunfa,no se cual es el motivo de menospreciar asi a este Talentoso Patinador. YUZURURU mismo comfirmo que no estaba en su mejor nivel,ademas de que surgieron nuevos e Increibles patinadores,y sus terribles leciones lo limataban todavia más,por eso se Retiro. El es una LEYENDA que va perdurar en el tiempo,por Suerte va a hacer Exiviciones,y vamos a poder contemplar su ARTE!! Más respeto a Todos los Patinadores,ellos estan en una generación donde solo los Saltos Valen.

Shoma has better overall skating skills compared to the younger skaters. He got over 300 points this time - 99.99 in SP means he got more than 200 points in FS. How many quads he did in the FS? 4? or 5? Ilia did 5 quads include 4A and all landed successfully - Ilia got 191??? in FS? (Ilia got around 80 something in SP). I think Shoma's program is not heavily toward jumping at this point, especially his coach is Stephane Lambiel. Personally, I tend to think Japanese figure skaters skate prettier/perform better in program components (they did better job in artistry) than the U.S figure skaters like Ilia or even Nathan. Of course, both Nathan and Ilia are gifted jumpers who have fantastic jumps. So the comments about the length of Shoma's legs are somewhat irrelevant here?
