Even Norway, with its massive wealth, does'nt give its teenagers free bus transport (£160m), does'nt offer its citizens free prescriptions (£1.4bn), and although Norwegian further ed is free, it still comes at a massive cost to taxpayers. Not to mention, only 50% of Scots pay tax, and half of those again take out more in services, than they contribute.
