Only met Angus once at the shore in Edinburgh. Shared a cigarette and had a wee yarn .total gentleman will be soorly missed. Love his fiddle playing, so much energy. He was a character indeed. RIP

My favourite memory of Angus was watching them at Sidmouth. A girl right at the front reached up and touched his beard! He stared her out for more than a minute. It was funny as hell! RIP you great musician.

More than 15 years ago they played at Zócalo in Mexico City. I was so impressed by this band i continued and will continue to listen to their music for the rest of my life. "You don't know a banjax? Oh man, you're in for a treat."

totally agree with you , a true legend.He played in our village hall just a few months before he parted. Honestly say the place was packed and not a single person not dancing.
