Here I shot a Professional Basketball Player’s field workout! I take you along with me to see the pre-production, shooting the workout, and then my post-production editing workflow. We discuss how I cut to music, how to work with clients/athletes when shooting photo or video of them, and ways that I like to edit!

Thank you for posting this! I love to see your process and how you go about approaching this kind of shoot. Your comment about what it's really like to edit a video to music is so true.. Risks ruining the song! But when the editing is finished, the song takes on a whole new meaning and I love that part. Vlogging a shoot is not easy to do and I appreciate the effort you put into yours. I can barely keep up with the stress of my shoots let alone narrate the process and my mindset. You may be inspiring me to try more!

Great video Tyra! Thanks for bringing us along the process :) Have you tried Premiere's auto resizing feature?? It's been an absolute game changer for me when needing to change a landscape video to portrait without the hassle of manually resizing clips!

Thank you so much!! YES! Game changer!! In this video, I manually resized clips so I could keyframe his movement more tediously -- I shot this video horizontally (so I could make the long-form version as well) so I basically made more work for myself 🤣🤣 Definitely an amazing hack in Premiere!!
