Believe it or not Shooter didn't want anything to do with Country music. He loved his daddy and his daddy's music but wanted to be a rock and roll singer song writer. Waylon supported shooter along before he passed away..... but soon after the passing of the greatest outlaw, Shooter had moved out to L.A. to launch his rock career but soon found out his heart and soul would be in country music. With help from another great icon and outlaw Hank Jr showed shooter how to combine the two types of music he loves so dear. Shooter started listening to country and realized A lot of great artist don't just sing about heart aches or broken down trucks but tell stories and real life events. Shooter is truly a spitting image of Waylon and has done a remarkable job as being a great country music artist who should be in the lime light.......well like some of you folks said he should be replacing some of these other country singers. Rock on Shooter we live ya man RIP Waylon we love you as well for you will never be forgotten.

I saw the close-up of the Waylon ring at 2:45 and just about lost it. Nice touch, Shooter. And you can definitely see her grandpa in Bama's grin (and her grandma in her eyes). Waylon would be very proud. Very touching song and video!
