Good day to you, sir. Thank you very much again for another informative and enjoyable video. The Hammer looks like a great gun, and I would love to own one. Thanks for reminding everyone about the recommended distances to make ethical shots.

Rick, how would this gun have done with some lighter slugs, like 225, 250, etc. I wonder if the speed could make up on the FT lbs?

Question isn't the fpe like a 38 center fire pistol?
@Armadurapersonal5 ай бұрын
totally, yes. in the ballpark of 45 acp
@TheDirtyvermonter5 ай бұрын
Most large caliber airguns are putting out some serious energy nowadays rivaling firearms. And the beauty is they're still unregulated. So atf won't come after you if you make an sbr or put on a suppressor
@TheCodyO5 ай бұрын
Energy is around pistol levels, but terminal performance will be different. High powered big bore air rifles are shooting very heavy projectiles that have fantastic penetration. They don’t rely on energy transfer or expansion. They kill with penetration and a large frontal diameter from the get go. They do loose a lot of performance with range due to the low velocity and low BC projectiles.

@@Armadurapersonal not in the ballpark of .45 but like spicy .45 +P , its 705 foot pounds so entirely possible for a .45 load but thats pretty spicy for .45

I see people shoot coyote with .22 300 yards ..i did not believe them ..But they did ???They tell me come to see for yor self ,,,,And i saw you dont need the hammer big bore ore smth .to kill a coyote 200 to 300 yards ..Dont shoot the(messenger) me i was baffled they shoot coyote with .22 at 250 /300 yards .af corse with no cheap airguns..Dont get me wrong.

Funny always hear about the 200 to 300 yard kills with a 22. But you never see the video kinda like Bigfoot
@whatsmolly57415 ай бұрын
@@BryantWilliams-lg6yw 1260 fps at the muzzle is 850-950 at 200 yards so ya not the craziest claim thats still lethal if your shot placement is good.
@BryantWilliams-lg6yw5 ай бұрын
I’m just saying I would like to see it. I have been hunting my entire life and have seen some great shots but the accuracy of a 22 at that distance is very inaccurate and it wouldn’t be a humane kill on an animal At 200 yards you are looking at almost a 3 foot drop and speed is closer to maybe 600 fps and than what a slight breeze would do to the bullet. Maybe I’m not as good as a shot but I would love to see it done

@@BryantWilliams-lg6yw kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJaWiYx9h8tsgKc afcoarse not coyote .it is a target ..But in the hands of a good shooter.when you watch the whole clip .ow boy.And that was with not a very powerfull gun.
