The best type of jam-door is the one that normally is unused, but when it's needed can just be ripped off and tossed away. I can imagine that after a large battle with lots of faulty, jam-prone elite 2.0 blasters, the battlefield is littered not only with darts, but also many jam-doors strewn across the floor! 🤣

The reasoning he gives is that Darts just drop once they hit the wall/door. So I assume he means that the rival balls bounce everywhere making it take much longer to clean up. Even a "Garden Weasel" can't do its job quickly if balls are all over the place and under things.

A comment about cleanup, since you are just shooting in one location for these challenges, and the darts fall straight down, I would use one of those flat under-the-bed storage crates. Place it on the floor, right at the bottom if the door. That would pick up 80% of the darts. Then, at the end of the challenge, just throw them all in the crate. No fuss, no muss.
