Great info, thanks for taking the time to break everything down D! I'm still mastering the gimbal moves from the sandwich video, will add the "Bay style" upward orbit shot to the list. Your videos give me hella confidence too, as I assume all commercial DP/Cinematographers rent RED cameras and have shot music videos for 10 years before they venture into commercial work. Nice to know with a little knowledge, some gear and consistent practice, a regular guy can replicate the same techniques.

Bro this helped so much, I work at a local digital marketing agency and every time we go to a shoot, we are all disagreeing on what shots go where and when people need to say stuff, I was never aloud to take charge as an employee. I finally stood my ground and told me bosses the ads we were making were ass, not only do I not enjoy these ads but my dog wouldn’t either. I argued with them for about an hour and almost got fired😬 they gave me a task to shoot a commercial under my say. I used the story board and shot the best commercial ever, my pay went up and all was great. Thank you so much man.

I really enjoyed this video, it's great to how you open every scene and how it was filmed. I too make most videoprojects alone or with just little help from someone. Would you recommend the Sony a6300 as an upgrade from the Canon 600D/t3i (rebel series)? I'm looking to get something with a bit of a more professional "glaze" to it - and get a couple of lenses too (perhaps the sigma 30mm + something else?). Also, what do you think of the Zhiyun cranes? I was thinking about the Zhiyun Crane 2, but have just been reading about the DJI Ronin S (little more expensive) - what do you think between them? Also, how would you recommend saving up for and purchasing new gear? Like, the priority when it comes to upgrading my current setup (Canon 600D/t3i (with 3 extra batteries) + Canon 50mm f1.8 + 18-55mm kit lens (without IS) and a trusty fluid head Manfrotto tripod that I love).

This is cool, I shoot on a GH4 and been thinking about switching to Sony A6500 but debating if its better to continue saving for the Sony A7III. I mainly want to shoot more low light videos
@dukebozikowski38016 жыл бұрын
Wait because the panasonic s1r or A7S III might be absolute game changers. The GH4 is fine. The only real difference between the GH4 and the a6500 is the a6500 has good autofocus in 4k, better high ISO performance, and better photo capabilities. The GH4 has less issues though (overheating, battery life, etc.)!
