They stand behind their product. That was enough to convince me, 25 years ago to pick up a C9 and a JHP, as a broke college student. Daughter has the C9 now, wife and I kept the JHP as one of the bump in the night options Yes. We own better carry options, and better guns overall, as do she and our son in law, but damn few companies treat the 10th owner like the first one. Glock being one of them. Need it rebuilt or replaced, send it in, free of charge, and it's shipped back free, with an extra mag. Need a simple to replace pin or spring, it's sent to you feee as well. Even if it breaks because you tortured it. That alone makes me respect the company. Not just for that reason either. They fill a niche in the market other companies don't. You can walk in, with $400, get a brand new pistol, SD and training ammo, and still have enough for a small safe, and the application fee for your CHL, and range fees. It opens the market for lower income, single parent, families to also exercise their 2A rights, instead of getting just a used handgun alone, for that price. At that point, they have protection, and can save up for a better option, but still rely on that $150 CF 380 or C9. They get labeled as junk, because of looks, and price, but you can net your, and your family's safety on them. And the Hi Point you leave with today will always beet that WC or Colt 1911, sitting in the shop safe, on layaway, when someone's trying fo kick down your door.

The Raufoss round was initially produced in Norway. Raufoss ammunisjonsfabrikk (Raufoss Ammunition factory) They where tasked with making ammunition for the Norwegian military in 1896, in 1968 the factory was taken over by the Norwegian government, in 1998 they merged with the Swedish company Celcius and the finnish Company Patria. Raufoss Ammunisjonsfabrikk is a part of Nammo who is a defence industry corporation, the Norwegian government currently own 50% of Nammo. That could be an explanation for the price of the Raufoss rounds.
@blahorgaslisk7763 Жыл бұрын
@@Poacher91 Look up the construction. It's not just another bullet. It's has both high explosive, incendiary and a armor piercing component. It's designed to "go off" in a way that maximizes the damage experienced on the inside of a armored vehicle, and it produces enough heat that it can ignite jet fuel. That last thing is not as easy as it may appear. Jet fuel doesn't just burn easy like petrol. You can stick burning rags in it and they just peter out. A friend had to put blowtorches to it before he managed to get it burning. So this ability makes it a good round to use against choppers, aircraft and just about any vehicle powered by turbines. According to Wikipedia it's about as effective against armored vehicles as a 20mm auto cannon round. And that's from a .50 caliber round...

@@CheekyMenace just from my understanding Demo didn’t have dialogue with his camera guy very much if at all until recently. Now, I could obviously be wrong, but that’s just something that I noticed, and I’m totally fine with Demo implementing it

Pretty solid of them to do that. They're obviously very aware of the product they produce lol. I am seriously considering grabbing one for a guest plinker/ wall hanging conversation piece.

Can you imagine the ceo's of hi point watching this in a board meeting questioning who's idea it was to send Matt 25 hi points
@ComotoseOnAnime Жыл бұрын
Bold of you to think it wasn't the CEO who greenlit the idea in the first place. Hi-point's CEO is just as mad a lad as the CEO of Kel-Tec

Id imagine he'd get a raise. Matt is doing 6 figure sponsor deals at this point. Hipoint spent $5000 amd got an entire video showing how durable their guns are.

It was super brave of you to stand that close to an Olight without some sort of blast shield.

The fact he’s literally a doctor, and yet still runs around the woods acting like this, is quite possibly the best thing this world we live in could possibly ask for right now.

@anthonymelendez949 I get what you're saying but that isn't really special most places have good Samaritan laws so even if he wasn't a vet he could step in in life or death situations

If you want to use a "spicy" 50 cal round, you should use one of Kentucky Ballistics slap rounds 😂

Gotta admit. There in the intro, I was thinking it was a Demo Ranch and Gun Jesus crossover, and now I’m actually looking forward to that if it hasn’t already been done
