@richardt17923 жыл бұрын
If you want to shoot film panorama without breaking the bank, there are some decent point and shoot cameras that offer a panoramic mode. I've taken them to the Sierras and have gotten some pretty decent shots that I would have with my 35mm of medium format cameras.

@@ReimannPembroke Pretty much any medium format camera can be adapted. You either need to have the necessary adapter 3d printed, or you just need to buy them. They are available in some regions. There are plenty of videos on KZbin explaining the process.

You don’t need it man. Yes film is cool, retro and fun, BUT, film is damn expensive, laborious, and hard work. I know, I’ve shot film for over 35 years, from way back in the 80’s to recently. Top end film cameras are a rip of, costing over 2K, for technology that’s dead and buried, only for the hipster look that’s in demand, therefore the high prices. It’s worth doing if it’s a business and you’re offering a different option, i.e, events on film, OR, you’ve got a shit load of wonga, and if you haven’t, then it helps to have rich parents. You’d be better off investing in a decent digital camera and quality glass. Invest that money and do courses, learn off camera flash photography. People underestimate flash photography. It’s amazing what you can do with flash, even in bright mid day sun light. Channels like this one are cool, they go out and do what most of us can’t do, therefore, giving us something to dream about, but, like I said before, it’s for those people who have loads of disposable cash or are funded to do anything they want without working for it by mummy and daddy.

While I completely get that you want consistency in your work, and that you like a certain look (you talked about it in other videos), I find it a bit sad that you turned Ektar, a contrasty and saturated film, into a rather washed-out, desaturated and overexposy-looking thing. Why not shoot a random low budget color film in this case, if you're gonna tweak the end result so much anyway ? That being said, this is just my personal taste, and I still love your videos and humour, and you're right, it's your channel, your vibe, your feeling, your vision, and you can do whatever the fudge you want ;)
