I've never shot c200 before but I think you should give it another shot in the spring or in the summer when there's more light! anyway very excited to see more of these.

Great video! I really appreciate your enthusiasm for shooting with film and the critical eye you have for your own photography. This is what makes us better photographers! Kodak 35mm color films are getting harder to come by because of supply chain issues so I purchased my first roll of FujiFilm Superia 400. Haven’t loaded it into my Nikon F yet but I will soon. Nice photos you took! Although you may not be happy with some of them, I think each photo has their own unique artistic and aesthetic qualities. Keep up the good work!

yea if you wouldve metered these at ISO 100 most of them wouldve been BANGERS especially the scene at 6:53

What lens did you use for these

It was a 35mm lens.

From what I've seen, C200 seems to only look great a stop or two overexposed.
@michaelbennettphoto2 жыл бұрын
That’s good to hear, I’ll give in another go in the future and over expose it a bit! Thank you!
@henryrogers55002 жыл бұрын
I’m starting to do that with all my films. (Overexposing by a stop.) I set my ISO to one stop below box speed. I.e., 400 box speed set to 200 ISO on my camera. Then meter normally for the shot.

your'e absolutely right, C200 film needs to be exposed at a ISO of 100 and exposed (meter) for the shadows to remove that grungy look and give it a more bright and rich color tone, still will be more cool toned but will fix the muddy shadows.
