Really like your video very knowledgeable information. Want to build a pool in Orlando FL but the cost having a company doing it is outrageous ,now will look into doing it my self and hiring contractors. Can’t wait to see the finished video on the pool and final cost .

Gunite is not "better" or stronger. It is used for finer areas where aggregate typically can't go or isn't supported and traditional concrete would slump out. It is used in awkward surfaces for that reason.

thank you for all the details and step by step process. you did explain the rough plumbing. I hope you explain the plumbing in bit more detail as the number of drain or return - is that based on the size ? is that something the pool designer puts in the document and is that document sign and seals for county permit ?you have inspired me to do the pool myself. all the pool vendors come and show fancy rendering and they say they can start in 6 months...getting tiered of hearing that.

I built my own 4K sqft house last I saved around 400k, next year I’m putting in my own pool. I couldn’t imagine paying some guy to watch other people working and then getting paid the same amount as the workers. Love the hustle. We need more of that in this country.
