you need to get "backdrop# of Stage" in the sensing panel and change the "Stage" to any figure and now you can change the "backdrop" to direction too.

1. use shift to make a perfect circle 2. dont center the entire sprite, center the circle then make the character 3. you can use point towards mouse pointer and wasd + mouse to shoot for better control (when w pressed chng y by 10 etc.) 4. a bullet is a dark yellow and travels fast but the collision might mess up so make a block with run without screen refresh then you put in "repeat 10 {move (5) if [touching enemy or edge] {delete this clone} }" under the definition and put the block in a forever loop 5. great video! works well for a first project but is really bad for future projects

There is a more compact way of making the movement. Just put the "key pressed?" in the move blocks with a multiplication operator. Ans you can make the "key d pressed?" and "key a pressed?" subtract from eachother. And center the sprite around the circle and NOT the entire sprite. And you can just make it copy itself and make the clone code be the bullet, it's impractical but you can do it if you want to. Or just make the movement better than this, this movement is shit and just make the character move up down left and right with each wasd keys. And make the player point at the cursor

Is this even your script? I came across this video and realized the character looked the same as the one from a tutorial I watched a long time ago when I was learning scratch.
