If 2k is going to punish you for greening, I think the green window should just get smaller each shot, instead of non existing. This would be much more realistic, the more shots you take, the more you are to miss. And there’s no volume shooting badge Having the most important shot in basketball be relegated to a fixed outcome where if you green two shots you miss the third is absolutely fucking brain dead I’m not asking to shoot 60% from the 3, but at least give me a fair chance to time my jumpers, don’t completely take the green window. Which means a 100% missed shot on high risk

It’s crazy that it’s 2025 and people don’t know this lol… old 2ks were similar but not as aggressive. I remember being in middle school and not knowing what coding/programming was and telling my boys about my theory and telling them stuff like “you can spam 100 hop jumpers and time it perfectly but 2k will force you to miss one… it’s just the algorithm”… 2k used to do this with badges to prevent ppl from spamming the same dribb move (ankle breaker like 2k17) and shooting right after the animation

Your wrong, I realized if I shoot without having the blue bar the jump shot will be slower than if I were to shoot with Gatorade still so basically guys if you shoot with Gatorade your jump shot will be normal speed if you shoot without having your blue bar hold your square button just a little longer and it will be green I’ve mastered this I can go 5/5 from the 3 no problem try this out guys I’m not bappin

I’ve made 3 in a row in the rec pretty decently and seen my teammates do it. Not going to question your knowledge fr bc you are professional. I’d like to see 2K labs do a test so we can see the percentages. Honestly I don’t think shooting is any harder this year. I actually think it’s easier. Top players will be shooting high 60s by season 4/5. Whether 2k claims to have buffed it or not. I’m not 2K God. I shot 60s in 24. Not shooting 60 now, but we haven’t got cap breakers yet, and everyone hasn’t made their 10th build yet.

This is annoying and IRL if you leave a shooter open it’s a boost to their shot yet a video game is limiting the ability meanwhile post scorers spam the same moves triggering animations that throw you out the way and there’s no emphasis to even that playing field. Their play style isn’t affected by shot-timing or anything whereas you have to know your jumpshot to make it. I just don’t understand the need to nerf one build while the post spammers are backing people down from the free throw line and standing in the paint for 10 seconds with as much as they want
