Another option for archiving polaroids (or instax wide) is archival sleeves for 4x5 negs and archival binders. You can put two polaroids back to back per slot, so 8 polaroids per sleeve. Not as pretty as the binder you have, more like nerdy overkill, I guess, but I thought I'd mention it as they're dust free, acid free etc. e.g. Besfile, Vue-All binders and Printfile sleeves on B&H.

I'm watching your video, thinking you'd probably have like over 10k subscribers, and then I went to click on your profile to see if you have a video about your Onewheel because I've never seen anything like it before and I want to learn more about it and why you only had 10 miles on it. And I find that you only have 425 subscribers?!? How is that even POSSIBLE? This is such a sick asf video, all the filmography is sooo nice and the editing and music is sooo aesthetically pleasing. You deserve so many more subs, dude!! Hella subscribing. Also, seeing your camera, even before you mentioned the stickers, it made me want to customise my camera, which looks like it was probably the same model, just the original one (I got it off eBay for like $80 and it just came today, I'm watching a bunch of 600 camera videos in anticipation for my film pack (a.k.a. the battery) comes too)! So I'm gonna print some stickers eventually. I got my camera in yellow to look like Max's from Life Is Strange, so I'm probably going to put a bunch of Life Is Strange-themed stickers on it. Or maybe just make it aesthetic and Tumblr. The funny thing is that I usually put lots of Polaroid and photography illustrations on my things, but that would be weird to put an illustration of a Polaroid... on a Polaroid 😂

Hey, so awesome! I really appreciate the love! I spend a lot of time on the filming and editing of these videos and i'm so happy when people dig them! Killer acid!!! Wearing some killer acid shorts rn!!..Just curious, if you could recommend any Polaroid camera that doesn’t break the bank what would it be??
@KevinToomey3 жыл бұрын
Sweet! That's a good question. If you're looking to get into one for super cheap (or free) i'd ask around in your family because there's a good chance someone has one in a closet. Also be on the lookout at flea markets and thrift stores. If you find one that's not tested (like at a thrift store) just make sure it's cheap enough that if it's broken it won't be a big deal. On Ebay right now, film tested Polaroid 600's are going for about $34-70 bucks. As long as there is a return option available, i'd give that a shot. I'm using a Polaroid 600 in this video, it's just a fancy Killer Acid model. It's no different in operation than an old school Polaroid 600. 600 film cartridges aren't super cheap, but there's no way around that part. Keep me posted, would love hear about what you find!

This is a nice video. I just got a Polaroid 635, hoping to capture some nostalgic pics of my hometown before I leave for good Any tips for scanning pictures into digital? Yours looked great in the slideshow you showed briefly
@KevinToomey3 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and sorry I’m so late to reply! Tips for scanning would be to use a good micro fiber cloth and air blower device on photo so it’s clean. After scanning, bring into photoshop (or similar) to clean up a little bit, specifically around the edges. Might crop the edges a tiny bit- I find there’s usually one edge that needs a little cleaning. Cheers!

I love the colours on a polaroid film - something '1950s technicolor' about them. More importantly, right now, what is your method of transport. I caught a glimpse of it, but I need a definition and a demonstration. Anyone point me in the right direction?
@KevinToomey Жыл бұрын
Thanks for commenting! Elaborate on what you mean about “method of transport”. You mean, where to put the photos when you’re out in the world shooting? @KevinToomey3 жыл бұрын
Hey awesome! Hope you are enjoying it so far!! I keep the exposure level in the middle and avoid low light situations. If I really see a good photo op and it’s a little dark, I’ll bump the exposed dial. And if I’m ever in extremely bright sunlight or a situation where there’s lots of reflecting bright light, then I’ll bump the dial the other way. But 90% of the time it’s in the middle and I just try to position people for portraits in optimal lighting. Thanks for watching the video!!
