Really beautiful photos. I bought a 166B a few days ago and I would like to start shooting as soon as possible. I read in the comments that you use LUX as a light meter, but there are several apps with that name, could you tell me specifically which one? Grazie mille 🇮🇹

The logo on ours is a grey aperture symbol with a white background, but i'm pretty sure most apps work in similar ways :)

@@intuitiveshutter7271 I didn't find anything with that logo but I downloaded a worthy replacement! The problem is that at night (in very low light situations) they are not very reliable 😅 in any case thanks! 🙂

Haha, I love how almost every video on youtube about Lubitel 166B is basically talking about how incompetent and stupid that plastic camera is, then they take some mediocre careless pictures on the cheapest b&w film, and in the end, they all somehow compare it to Mamiya rz67 (like why even, Lubitel literally means an amateur, Mamiya is one of the best professional medium format camera, it's literally like comparing Gordon Ramsay's food with McDonald's happy meal). You took the most amazing pictures with it, proving it's not really about the camera, but about the effort and the photographer. That 5:55 ? They could never!

Thanks ! Most of the time we use a lightmeter on our phones for guidance, a lot of these night shots are shot at f/8 or f/11 and the exposure can vary from 30seconds up to 2minutes :)

Hi ! Yes we both edited our shots, however nothing too drastic mostly reviewing the contrasts and overall saturation of each image as well as the composition :)
