Please get a microphone cover. It was hard to hear with the wind.

This is an awesome rig. I recently put togather a 224 and have been experimenting with ammo. It likes the 88 grain hornady. I have made a couple of stands calling with no luck. I'm curious if you have used it on coyotes yet with the 88 grain and if so did it tear them up pretty bad? I've seen the 224 in action in some other videos but they wear using 60 or 75 grain

I called in and killed a pair with the 88's. Didn't blow them up at all. I've since sold this gun. Had a buddy that really wanted it. Just finished a 6MM ARC build that I'm going to take out next season.

550yards is NO joke!!!!! Looks like a good setup! Any issues with the vortex (ive heard the pst’s can lose zero from time to time)

Thanks, I really like it so far. To speak to the PST gen II having issues, I haven't experienced any issues. I have this scope on this gun and the same exact scope on a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun. I run my guns a lot and take them on hunting trips, no safe queens here. So far the scopes have held zero and DOPE well without issue. I can't speak to the PST gen I because I never had one.

Have you tried shooting the federal fusions out of it? I have the same barrel only in 20" and it won't shoot those fusions worth a damn. Curious if it was just my gun

I haven't. I have only shot the 88 grain Hornady Match.

I see you were running the AE 75g and what appears to be Hornady 88ELD-M’s I’m assuming that for the 550 you were shooting the 88’s correct? I’m running the same barrel just wondering how well the 88’s ran. Thanks!

88 match rounds seem to be what it is liking the best. Haven't had a chance to shoot the Fusion 90's but I have a few boxes now.

Man, when submitting a video think it through. What will you offer the viewer? The .224.. I get it. But what about your results? Issues with function? What loads? Basically all we saw was a video of a man shooting who didn't know to muffle his microphone so there was a lot of wind noise. I"m sure you can do better than this. I'd delete it and start over and make sure I hit every item on the production checklist..

Hey man, when you run my channel you can do whatever you want with it. If you have a question about the production checklist I'd be happy to answer it. I filmed this with a cell phone in 111 degree heat. I was shooting 88 grain Hornady match ammo. As you can see from the video there were no issues with function. I'm not worried about the quality of the video because it's under 2 minutes. I didn't hang paper or shoot for a group. I wanted to check the dope on the scope at 550 yards and I accomplished that goal.

Hey, maybe he just made a quick video of him shooting and posted it for himself and friends. He doesn't have a checklist, or the need to satisfy yours.
