So I had one of these, and while I agree the trigger is the weak point, I want to make mention that the APX CARRY is completely different then the APX FULL SIZE and the APX Compact. Both of which are EXCELLENT weapons, and stand true to Berettas quality control and excellent design. I own the typical Glocks, CZs, and Smiths. While all fantastic weapons, I choose to daily carry my APX compact. It is a reliable to the core, ergonomic, well designed pistol that was designed with combat in mind, (APX FULL) as it was created for the MHS trails. (performed very well) It is an incredibly underrated pistol as many of Berettas weapons seem to get overlooked in the American market. Folks you won't be disappointed with the FULL and Compact size APX. The one shown in this video is a different pistol, and doesn't share the same chassis unlike the ones I mentioned.

The large spring will pop over the lip in the middle and jam the pistol up. The slide will not be able to come back far enough to eject or load a new round. I had 2 nanos and an apx carry a1. Same recoil spring for all of them. 16lb is stock weight. My advice is a to change the spring guard rod assembly. Load +p ammo with no worries.

The thing here is that there are expectations regarding the Apx-a1 carry which are incongruous with the msnufacter’s intent. It was never designed or built to compete with pistols that come with bells and whistles. The trigger is designed to prevent, as much as possible, accidental discharge. The rest of the gun is plain, simple and an excellent choice for cc. It’s not for everyone but no gun is, however it’s a Beretta, built like a brick shithouse although that’s all you get in the present iteration: the gun and an 8 round mag which is why it cost so little. I have this gem and it is my usual carry. I love it for its unpretentiousness and its utility. I mean, look, it’s a gun you use to protect yourself and the people you care about when you’re out and about. At home I keep a Beretta PX4 Storm full size at the ready among others. Defense means "get off me" thats what defense is.. its get off me while I hide or run away. any more than that is a felony and a life sentence. if your popping off at 100 yards.. thats not defense that prison. why would you talk like a get off me gun is a 2nd or back up. your advice is going to ruin someones life and cost another

for $220 there’s not much to complain about, you get what you pay for.

Soooo…lm old…59…..l like my plain Jane Glock 43. Why? Well…6 +1…..Small gun…in my pocket….and..goes bang EVERY time. 6+1? Ok….same folks tell me not enough capacity are perfectly ok with a five shot J frame Smith and Wesson. I also live in NJ…….and l can shoot my G43 fine out to 25 yards….15 and in…..more than fine. The 3-3 in 3? Yes….well under the three seconds….and EVERY time l press the trigger….it goes bang. So…G43….the original….Old…not obsolete. Don’t want yours…let me have it. I have the original APX…full size…very good platform.
