I wish my field had no joule limits. I play at one of the biggest/popular east coast fields in the country and the limit for a spring sniper is 2.81j lol I’m sitting right at the limit with an SSG10A1

They have taken a hit and I can honestly say it took me at least six months to notice it, they're still perfectly fine to use. Don't forget, this is a 5 joule gun and every bb was in the same spot

On a related note on joules. Bought a PTS Radian Mod 1 GBBR. Love it, fires great. One problem though, it fires hot at over 400 fps over 1.5 up to 2 joules. And the most interesting part is that it depends on the mag somehow. Out of 6 mags, one would fire at about 410-420 fps at over 1.5 joules, 2 of other mags would fire at over 450 fps at 1.7 and a little over 2 joules, while another 3 of the mags would fire less than 400 fps at 1.5 joules and below.

We did a game 5v10 defense all snipers. A guy got shot with the ssg24 through the gap in a wooden pallet, hit him in the mesh mask on his mouth and swallowed the bb because it shattered. (550 fps)

Just a word about mesh goggles - as somebody who has had both scratches on and a chemical burn in his eyes, I would say painful is a sharp understatement. It's agonizing. If that went in your eye.. you're down for the count. Just get regular goggles and slap the stickers these guys sell over the lens, please. Do it for me, if nothing else. It's so not worth risking bb shrapnel or anything in your eyes.
