Pitching wedge 180? Nah that’s ridiculously long. That’s a 5 iron for most
@stunna65725 жыл бұрын
I can hit my PW 170 if I swing hard....but I never do 3/4 swing for me is 150 an accurate all day. I think what's impressive is his swing is for the most part controlled and still gets the distance it does.
@reformcongress5 жыл бұрын
A lot of people are in your boat, but it does depend on the irons that you use. Some are not designed for that kind of distance. I started looking at the Taylormade P790 irons, which I will probably upgrade to but before that I need to finish upgrading my woods to Taylormade T5. I have the driver. I just need to get the 3 and 5 woods. Then I will do the irons. I might try renting a set of the irons for a couple of rounds before going all in though.

@thetrainwxgeek5 жыл бұрын
Without a caddie or second person it’s tough. I think it’s illegal but I’m not an expert in golf but still love to play it
@ben2cameron5 жыл бұрын
My home course has a number of semi-blind or blind approaches, I've got them all memorized by now but when I didn't I'd walk up, pick a tree or something in line with the flag and my ball, and use that as a reference. Cabot Links is tricky, especially that approach on 8, because there's nothing on the horizon to use. The best you can do is try to figure out something with the bunkers (unless you've got a caddie).

I’m at 8:17 but just had to stop to comment. I’ve watched a bunch of your golf videos, including the earlier “survival round”... you can tell that you’re engaged in this round. You’re attitude is way more positive, regardless of whether or not you hit a great shot. You are just really focused on each shot and it’s cool to see this approach. I’ve seen it in spurts from you before, but you seem locked in from the start (mentally) this time. I’m a former club professional, just so you have a frame of reference for my thoughts. Great video so far... hoping you finish the front in -2.

Love the content my guy. Would like to pose what I see as an upgrade that may or may not be possible. On every hole you have the map of the hole when you are driving. On holes where the ball does not land within clear distance of the hole, it would awesome To hVe you pull that map back out and add a dot to where the ball landed and you are playing your shot from! Keep up the great work you two!
