And that's cool. This isn't an ad that is randomly assigned by KZbin/Google. They reached an agreement with Matt to sponsor his channel. They know full well that this is a gun channel, and they are willing to sponsor. Most big companies, like Wells Fargo for example, are anti-gun. Not Audible! After hearing a bunch of hate from anti-gun companies, and it's good to hear good news once in a while.
@bryanjr57457 жыл бұрын
Matt - Ironic Wells Fargo would be against guns, considering how in the 1800's they had armed guards to guard their wagons, they even purchase their own guns to provide to their guards. Look up the wells fargo Schofield.
@ryangi57 жыл бұрын
Their logo needs a guy with a shotgun riding in front. But trust me, they are VERY anti-gun. They have a deal where you can upload a picture and they will make your credit card with that image. A guy I worked with uploaded a picture of a 1911 he had recently bought, and the image was rejected and no reason was given. He thought that maybe he didn't do something right, and tried it again. Again rejected. He repeated that process several times. He called and eventually reached the office that handles those cards. An employee told him off the record that it was being rejected because it's a picture of a gun. The employee feared he would be in trouble for admitting that, but said that was the reason. That's only one minor example. They are very much anti-gun.

15:21 halfway thru his story about being targeted by the oppositions sniper his voice changes as you can tell the emotion of that event hit him just that quick. It makes sense because at the end he states that he ended up crying that day. War is no joke. Regardless of what I may feel about U.S. conflict choices I'd feel like a traitor not supporting the people that man our military. They do what they're told to do. And no matter what any of us may think, these people have sacrificed to fight across waters to keep the war away from the dirt we tread everyday here in the u.s.

It's great to see that he still has a great character about him. PTSD is extremely deadly and from the short time we saw of Nick. It's incredible that he doesn't seem to have very bad PTSD. People like him are true American heroes and among the bravest men in the world.
@tipsytortoise87426 жыл бұрын
Is it bad that I do not care if I die? Is this a common feeling that I share with others? But yet I feel that if I were in his situation, I would cry, even though I have no regards for the continuation of my life. I feel that in those moments I would be getting shot at, I would finding something in my head that would be worth living for, yet at my current state of mind I believe that nothing really matters to me anymore. Kind of weird.
@St3a1thsniper326 жыл бұрын
Rin Amix I think it depends on if your religious or not. I'm a Christian so in my heart and mind. I believe that when I die I will be in Heaven with God. Even still though, I kinda fear death. It's unknown and there is always that seed of doubt within me that says maybe we are just here by chance and there really is no meaning to life. Usually non religious people find something like family or friends and imagine them feeling sad after you have died and that motivates them to stay alive. I think that if you don't fear death at all, which I find hard to believe. In the sense that I think you still have fear somewhere deep inside of you. You should find something that makes you want to keep going in life. Your job or family for instance. I will tell you that as a Christian, my purpose for living on Earth is to tell others about Jesus and lead people to him. You just need to find something that is worth living for.
