On November 20, Dimapur Naga Students Union (DNSU) issued a press release regarding denounce tampering of price tags, stating that if any of the shop owners are found selling the product without original price tags or MRP, concerned customers can report to the DNSU office. As complaints received from customers, on November 23 DNSU inspected shops and witnessed items without price tag. In regard to this, DNSU filed an FIR at the East police station. Therefore, police shut down the shop for further investigation.
