The dancer inspires that child who may some day become a great dancer in her own rite because of this inspirational event for the child. Kudos to Emma O' Sullivan, the dancer.

The lovely woman dancing is Emma O' Sullivan, I live in Galway myself but have never had the pleasure of meeting her. She brings a bright, sunny vibe to the city centre when she dances, always smiling and clearly loves doing what she does. P.S. The little girl joining in the dance is the cutest thing I've seen in ages!

The way she engages the little one to dance along is just so wonderful to see, and so true to the spirit of folk dancing. Folk dancing is for everyone, from the children to the elders, and it’s so natural for a child to just naturally pick it up by being in a community that expresses joy in music through dance.

I dance Women's Southern Traditional, a powwow competition style, and a lot of the little kids love to watch and imitate. We try to show the best example we can, and if they come up when we're dancing we show them how. So precious
