I thought tru track was a registered trade mark to Eaton, what the Visio showed was a Chinese copy, the axle set doesn’t seem to have any identifying qualities, so I’m guessing Indian or Chinese. I guess they don’t want to tell us where it’s originally made.

Hi I thought Strange only recommended there alloy 9 " center housings for track or circuit work ?? There are also small Holden or large Crewman bearings , both with a large double lip seal . DOM [has invisible seam ] or CDW tube [tru no seam ]

Trutrac is so annoying when turning corners. not recommended. imo. I have a 9" speedster worm drive member and it is still making noise after 2 years.

This diff build will suit some but not all . At least CRS tells u . Many diff builders in ozzy use rubbish housings 3/16 thick not 1/4 ,,,, diff housing not reinforced , axle tube made from ERW [water pipe ] ,,,DOM is the normal and CDS not often used . DOM is approx 4x stronger than ERW. Many suspension mounts can be poor quality . I did not purchase my diff from CRS as they could not do my brakes . CRS has a reasonable product but it wont suit everyone . Be cautious of other builders ,thats why my new shit quality housing is being replaced with STRANGE housing and tube /quality suspension mounts . MY diff was 6000$ LOL

Claims lsd are shit clutch type. I'm sure mate . Those helical gear style diffs are rubbish all those gears wear out much quicker than a truetrack helical unit.

Rod shop diff are rubbish they tell you get arp studs you don't get them and the diff center is from speed master gears bearings are chinnese rubbish the crown and pinion very bad put together cost me another $1000 You fix there rubbish

This clip is at least 3 1/2 years ago mate, as you know times change, We set all the diffs up with 3" x 1/2" unf Moroso Wheel Studs now. Yes the centre has always been a Speed Master centre and we have never claimed they are anything else.

9" ,,, the most overrated thing known. Inneficient, obese and not very strong,, throw away everything Ford. To still have an inneficient design!! Ford gave up on them late 70s and went to Danas. Or in the US 8.8" I have used them road racing, the oil used to stink as the design drags huge power and makes a lot of heat. Synthetic helps a bit but the pinion is way too low.As for axles I used Holden 28 spline, the Ford ones are piss weak. For road use there is nothing wrong with an LSD. And for racing a spol, is the only way.
