I am an elderly scale model builder that now takes much longer to complete projects than in my younger days. I have been watching your model building videos and tips for quite a while and find them very informative and fascinating. Thank you so much for all your efforts. I have been building a 1/350 scale model of CV6 USS Enterprise for over 2 years and was stumped by the tiny Oerlikon guns provided by the kit. I tried some after market photo etch but my eyesight cannot handle those tiny parts. You came to my rescue with your 3-D printed 1/350 scale Oerlikon gun set, which I purchased. Thank you. As an aside - when I was still in High School, living in Brooklyn NY, I went to see the actual USS Enterprise at the Brooklyn Navy Yard just a year before she was scrapped. What a tragedy she could not be saved.

Ben, and Nora, this particular shop talk was both way funny and way interesting. Love the work you do. While not really a ship modeler, I do have a couple in my "stash", that came from my dad, that I need to build. I DO actually scratch build in wood, for my model railroad and you are correct, building your own parts is interesting, and requires new skills. I found your description of the naming of your printers to be fun. Will we, one day, see the end of your lit up Titanic or did it sink to the bottom of a small lake? In any event, I love the work that you and Nora put out. Way fun and way informative. Press on.

I have always loved you guys I have two big hobbies 1 fishing mainly summertime and two model building during the winter and now that I work 2 nd shift it's a little difficult but I still make time and always enjoy your build and channel

I was planning on building her as she was at Midway with Wildcats but since you are doing Hellcats I will build it as she was a bit later.

Thank you sir for the carrier sets I felt so bad that it auto corrected my address the house is a new build so it basicly didnt recognize our adrees was weird after seeing the quality of the prints in person they are fantastic I finished the hanger deck of my Yorktown and it just looks so great with the boxes tool boxes engines it just looks fantastic.thank you

I am probably in the minority but I have enjoyed watching the Duchess of Kingston build. I may never build a wooden ship model but I have a much better appreciation for the art that goes into it.

Ben great talk. Did you finish your 1:200 Titanic and not record it? I didn't hear Titanic during unfinished models part of this update. I am interested in how you will/have completed the upper deck lighting. Keep up the great work your 1:200 Titanic ladder, crane, deck chair, and window sets are perfect with impeccable detail and craftsmanship.

I definitely would love to do a wooden ship model kit. My unicorn is the USS constitution Revell kit in Plastic and in 1/96 and i have never finished it and the kit has been damaged in storage and i am not sure I will ever finish it. i would love to build one in wood.
