Today we delve into sand casting for our first time! We're making a totally unnecessary part for his backhoe. He could have just used zip ties, but this was a fun project!

Well, if it isn't the return of Franko the rusty Lincoln guy! You don't suppose Franko could cast a whole new car with his newfound casting skills? Imagine the beer cans that would take! All joking aside, that piece turned out quite nice for the minimal amount of labor required and the first go at it. Casting is something I would really like to get into someday. I have some friends who do some cast work occasionally and there is quite a bit to know as well as a lot of work input. Anyhow Connor, it was good to see you and Franko back in the shop video and you guys did a good job! Hope to see you guys again soon.

Do you still have the 1st gen Cummins? I remember years and years ago watching your videos of that truck, shifting and showing the stuff you did with it. Really inspired me watching your vids to get my own first gen years ago!
