Great video, I've probably reviewed more putties of his than anyone else on here to be honest, I've lost count over the years lol. Big fan, I have to say I wish he'd have some sort of class where people can come(perhaps not right now with the madness regarding the virus currently) but once things get better where customers can pay for a class of his where we literally get taught to make out own putty with the chemicals a la science class style from scratch. He did do something like that few years back with some kids, but he may be super protective of his formulas. For me, i don't care about that I just want to be able to say hey I made this putty myself from scratch. I know silicone oil and boric acid are involved, I tried making it myself in a microwave a few years ago, failed. I have not tried a hot plate yet which I believe he uses or used. It's tricky but I hope I can one day make my own. Thanks again for relaying the message.

I would like to share that process because it is fascinating and fun to feel and watch. However, due to the need to protect our secrets, it is not something I can share. A bummer. Maybe one day as my last hurrah!

@@MakerShopTour Haha yeah ive seen that a few times in some of his teaching or educational vids, its all good. I've noticed he's very protective of his formula. I know the 2 basic chemicals or ingredients are boric acid and silicone oil, both of which relatively harmless because silicone oil is in every putty thats why it doesn't dry out. What else he puts in it who knows but one day I'll try again, maybe umi can get in touch with a chemist. Lol There is another company out there where I asked due to a gift for a little cousin so I wanted to know the chemicals in it to make sure it was safe which it is, another known american brand competitor to aarons. They didnt tell me how they make it but they did tell me the chemicals used. I'm also an artist and enjoy making my own stuff ive sculpted, painted, made my own music, animations and cartoons etc. Being a fan of putty, I've always wanted to be like "hey guys ive made this putty myself from scratch" know what i mean? One day hopefully I can do it not for profit but for hobby. Appreciate you sending him the message, yeah one year he sent me an exclusive store putty that I reviewed for Christmas which was really cool and nice of him😎

I have the scoopberry and after more than a year it still has the original scent. It might cost a bit but it's a good quality product. That angry one looks freaky. LOL. I want that mocha one. I've never seen that one in Australia.
