@@rainfallprojects501 You made him some stairs, so I’m surprised he didn’t bring Bourbon for Kelly and you either. Jason had a chisel in his pocket too, could’ve just cut those notches with that. Ha ha. (You’ve done colabs before with various people/channels (Martin, Avid/Sami/Vectric, Moth, Aquor, Miles, etc.): I’m South of you in da Burg, same as Scott/Essential, so it made me think that he (or Buckin’ Billy) could probably hook you up with a Douglas Fir slab, or another colab with Cam/Blacktail for some walnut, or Buff Dudes would like your gym and kettlebells, or there’s a lot pretty close to you/us (Cam Hanes as well: Hammer on Pisgah, amongst others, Ag too, etc, etc, or Michael Cthulhu! He’s a transplant (but not in OR, in IL) from (Galway) Ireland too); like you and your vids, they’re all so motivating and inspirational… but you have your hands full with your girls and the farm, and the table you made looks, and will work, amazingly well, so just ‘food for future thought’ to widen your Venn diagram.) (BTW, I hand make polar-arrayed ‘Aggravation’ boards for Christmas presents; they’d be easy for Drake to make on your CNC (miss that fur baby). Not exactly Gloomhaven nor Wingspan, but you might enjoy it/them, or easy for Etsy). Thanks JD. Sláinte Mhath.

When I was an apprentice cabinetmaker, I was paid to beat up furniture to give it an 'antique' look. Embrace the dents and scratches on the solid wood top - lots of character and memories. It would be good to see a large patternmakers vise installed in your workshop one day. I can't get an Emmert vise here in Australia, so I had to buy a Taiwanese knock off. It works great and is worth more now than I paid for it. Keep up the good work. 👍

The only thing that I don't like about your videos, is the time in between each one. I understand, that being a farmer, husband, and father doesn't leave much time to create videos, so I am happy when I get a notification about a new video. You can tell that you take the time to create quality videos. Too bad, you don't have a neighbor like Jason does to help you. . How long did it take to make that bench? No one can ever accuse you of making anything that isn't well-built. Thanks for the effort you put into each project. Wishing you and your family all the best. Keep up the good work.

Put the drawer bottoms in a dado, no chance of the bottom falling out and much easier to assemble. also to mouint the drawer slides just cut a piece of plywood to the right height for the top slide =, mark them all , the cut it down for the next height and so on.
