hey man if i have a Wordpress store using shopify buy button. Client wants to have a customer login so they can repurchase. I know you can have a customer login if you do a standalone website on Shopifybut can you also have that if u use buy button and wordpress? Maybe at checkout with buy button u can have that so customers can see past purchases and such. or do i have to basically do WooCommerce and use shopify api to import products PLEASE HELP! Hi! Thank you for posting this video. Could you please explain how the Shopify Buy Button (embedded to a Squarespace website) would work with different currencies? We would like it to keep the customer's currency all the way through the checkout, so that they actually end up paying in the "their" currency and not in our Shopify default currency. Would we still have to install an app like Geolocation Redirect to enable the currency switch? But that would be on Shopify - how would it work on the Squarespace end...?

HI Andrea. Thanks for the question. This is very tricky as depending on which payment gateway you choose in shopify will force the actual checkout currency. can you share which one you're using?

I made a demo site with multiple currencies on my end and a buy button and unfortunately i don't think you can change the currency on buy buttons. it is possible to achieve this requirement, but you will need a developer to make your own "buy buttons" and then you can create it but costs and time will not be small. hope this helps.

you can add those products to a new collection and do a buy button for the collection

@@bricktube3871 yes if you add a collection buy button and then add new products to collections, it will use the new ones as well. note that collections buy buttons have a limit to shown products so you will have to consider this

really depends on where you pasted it in the code. you may have to add css or 's around the code you paste to place it correctly. if you have an exmsple public url, i can help look into it. looking forward.

When you say "give it to them", who is them when we are editing our own Shopify site?

meaning, sometimes you dont control the website you want to place the buy button on so you will have to give it to the developer or the owner of that site so they can paste your code in.

I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with Shopify. Simple question asked: how do I place multiple "buy buttons" on my website (as my developer tells me the code for the buy button only works for a single button). The answer I received (from the development team through the advisor): it should work and your website developer should be able to figure it out. The Shopify management should be embarrassed and ashamed. Customer service just told me to "figure it out." No kidding, true story. After politely stating this to the advisor, I was directed to doing a search on the web or trying to find the answer in a forum. Icing on the proverbial cake... Does Shopify have anyone on staff who knows technical answer and is willing to provide them?

shopify is a platform. all implementations should be handled by a developer.

you would have to edit the code of your theme and know html in order to do so. it is recommend to ask a developer to do so in order to not break your theme.
