A complex system that is difficult to unlock and also unexplainable due to artificially induced limitations. It was a figure of speech.

Harry, could you rephrase this “What are you running from?” question? It implies that people are constantly trying to overcompensate for a traumatic/significant event in the past. It’s quite uncomfortable to watch. Bill Ackman also seemed put off by the question. How about: what traumatic event reshaped your values or has contributed the most to your modus operandi? In analyzing yourself, which of nature or nurture is the larger contributing factor to who you are? Edit: grammar

You’ve spelled out why the question is brilliant as it is.

@@Mrcoe7 Reading my old comment now I realized I forgot to add additional context, I didn't like Harry's question because it implies 'great' people are always running away from something. If I remember correctly, Bill answered something along the lines of "I don't think I'm running away from anything but perhaps running towards..." Trauma isn't the only thing that shapes great people is what I'm trying to say. Last point, I think it's actually quite counterproductive for successful people to feel like they're running away or overcompensating for a trauma. In the golf psych analogy, the more you want to hit a good shot, the worse it usually is. Like you just can't get the pressure of running away get to you.

@@Mrcoe7 Lol if you rewatch the videos all of them were just too polite to brush it off. It's also cringe how Harry projects his own insecurities onto the guests. As if he's saying 'I was traumatized as a child, please tell me you're traumatized also and overcompensating like I am'. Cringey in my opnion

Harry comes across exactly as he is: privledged, bratty, over-the-top. Congrats to him on his success, but hearing him talk [despite his very insightful questions at times] is very challenging.@@jerryyu7270
