This is interesting, but how are you deactivating the Pinterest and Facebook Customer Events pixels that are automatically installed with the Sales Channels? It seems you would still want to install the sales channels to get the product feed functionality that both provide.

You'll still need to pass product id data to those platforms if you want to do retargeting -- enabling those doesn't platforms in Shopify doesn't do this by default. My implementation is more comprehensive.

Hi @@Alessandro-Colarossi! Thanks for the reply. I'm sure your implementation is far superior. I would like to understand how you avoid loading the pixels that are automatically loaded by the Sales Channels. All of the events are fired multiple times if you're loading the FB pixel or Pinterest pixel through the Sales Channels and GTM. However, it is a real advantage to have the Sales Channel take care of product feeds automatically. So specifically, I am wondering, "How you are avoiding this?" Great work and thank you for the insight!

@@siquora So, for the Google and KZbin app i just use it for automatically pushing products to the merchant center and I have GA4 and Conversion Tracking Turned off. If something similar is possible for Facebook (Meta) and Pinterrest I would do the same, ie. just use their Shopify apps for product integration from Shopify and turn off tracking and tagging - as I take care of this in my implementation.
