Shopify - Move Collection Description to Above or Below Products - Dawn Theme

I am interested in the custom section as well. When I go to your link it says $30 not $10 as you mentioned. Is it available for $10? Also, could you insert that section below the photos on the collection page? If so how do I do that?

Your tutorials are so spot on in terms of being useful. I have a request for 2 more tutorials - how to hide out of stock items from search results and how to push of stock items to the bottom of the collection page automatically or hide them completely from the collection page.

Perfect - thank you! Do you have any idea to truncate the description and integrate a 'Read more' button underneath the collection? I've been wanting to achieve this for about 3 years. I can do each task individually, but combining the two I haven't managed to figure out!

That would be cool, but no I haven't seen something like that yet. It's not a CSS framework - I don't think the Shopify devs had this as a priority while building it.

Great video! I have been able to add the custom liquid sections but when wanting to edit the code I do not have a main-collection-banner.liquid. I have the kalles theme. Is there something else that I should be searching for?

Hi Ed. I just followed your steps, but I wondered how to get the text above the products and the text under the products to match? There is a significant difference in the size and letter spacing?

Hey Ed, This worked perfectly but I have a Q if I may? After implementing this I have since updated my theme. The Hard coding within the Main-collection-banner-liquid has reset with the update as expected, but the Collection pages still display with split descriptions and the H1. I'm not complaining but somewhat confused as to how it's still outputting correctly Any ideas please?

Quick question: is Dawn theme the most “global” of them all? I hope it is a good theme as a starting platform to develop a store.

Not sure what you mean exactly by "global", but Dawn is now the default theme when you open a new Shopify store. It replaces Debut. Therefore, it will be the most common theme out there, which is a good thing - lots of tutorials and support if you're having problems.
