On a Dawn theme you can also have a mega menu, under the change menu option there is an option to change desktop menu type and you can choose mega menu there!

I'd suggest creating separate collections for Cars and Bikes, then within each, have sub-collections for the different parts. In Shopify, you can have up to three levels of navigation, so here's how you can structure it: Option 1 (Broader First Level): Shop (Main menu) Cars Sub-collections: Brakes, Tires, Engines, etc. Bikes Sub-collections: Helmets, Chains, Accessories, etc. Option 2 (Direct Focus on Vehicles): Cars (First level) Brands/Models (Second level, optional if needed) Sub-collections: Brakes, Tires, Engines (Third level) Bikes Brands/Models (Second level, optional if needed) Sub-collections: Helmets, Chains, Accessories (Third level) With Option 2, you can take advantage of the third level of navigation by grouping parts under specific models or categories within Cars and Bikes. For example, you can have Cars → Toyota → Brakes or Bikes → Yamaha → Chains, providing a highly organized and intuitive navigation for your customers. Let me know which structure you prefer, and I can guide you further! 😊

@@RihabSeb Thanks a ton Rihab,,, we have only one product type ie spark plugs for both cars and bikes,,but each car eg...toyota has different car models,,and each model may use different categories of our spark plugs... eg..silver, copper , iridium, etc.. (likewise for bikes) So in Opiton 2...Suzuki as collection,,,Haybusa model as sub collection... we need to offer three different types of Spark plugs...( so we list each product type and differentiate them in category ? ) or the product can also be listed in collections and sub collections ...but how do we show one bike model list eg Haybusa display all 3-4 parrallel collection of spark plug types....thanks in advance for ur advice,,,

You're welcome! 😊 Here’s how you can structure everything for your spark plugs: 1. Your Setup: Since you only sell spark plugs for cars and bikes, but different models (e.g., Toyota, Suzuki) and types (e.g., Silver, Copper, Iridium), your collections and navigation can be organized as follows: Step 1: Collections for Brands and Models Main Collections: Create collections for each brand, e.g., Suzuki, Toyota. Sub-Collections for Models: Under each brand, create sub-collections for specific models, e.g., Hayabusa for Suzuki, Corolla for Toyota. Step 2: Group by Spark Plug Types Each sub-collection (e.g., Hayabusa) should list all the spark plug types relevant to that model. Here’s how you can do it: 2. Use Tags or Metafields to Identify Spark Plug Types: Tag products with Silver, Copper, Iridium, etc., or use metafields to categorize them. Display Types on the Hayabusa Page: Customize the Hayabusa collection page to show products grouped by type (e.g., sections for Silver, Copper, Iridium). You can do this using a custom template or Shopify’s built-in filters. Step 3: Show All Types for Each Model To display all spark plug types for a model like Hayabusa in parallel: 3. Include Products in Multiple Collections: Add each spark plug (e.g., a Silver spark plug for Hayabusa) to both: The Hayabusa Collection. The specific spark plug type collection (e.g., Silver Spark Plugs). Organize the Page: On the Hayabusa page, create sections to display products grouped by type: Section 1: Silver Spark Plugs for Hayabusa. Section 2: Copper Spark Plugs for Hayabusa. Section 3: Iridium Spark Plugs for Hayabusa. Alternative: Use Filters If you don’t want to manually create sections, use Shopify’s filtering system: Add tags like Silver, Copper, Iridium to each product. Enable Filters in your Shopify theme so customers can sort by spark plug type on the Hayabusa page. This setup ensures your customers can easily find all spark plug types for a specific model, whether a car or a bike. Let me know if you need help implementing this!

Dawn has a mega menu option. I am looking at it now. On version 7.0. But the category titles are not in bold, so that will need a bit of custom css. "font-weight: 900;"

Struggling!! I have Mr Parker paid Theme. Not all my Drop downs are showing. I dont have mega drop downs on the left but have them on the right. I am describing that I have a great mega menu built but I cannot control the background or add images to the left. Also what setting exposes all lists? I have 6-7 menu items (one is all collections so it isnt so busy) and click the first one it opens huge area and shows first options, open second and first dissappears and second appears, this is fine and works but I rather like the one you were doing where all menus expanded at once.

Hello Rune, In this case, I recommend you to create collections with automatic rules. So your products will be automatically falling in the right collections. The number of products doesn’t change the process. Just try to find a system that will be time efficient for you. And remember setting up your collections is one time thing, after that you will be just doing minimal work to make sure all is working well.
