Thanks for the informative, to the point video. Shopify seems all around better for e-commerce. Plus most of the tutorials & success stories are about Shopify. But what if you already have a Wix website, and your company is bigger than a store, with a blog and media component meant to educate and entertain? Do you have more information or success stories where people linked/input their Shopify store into their Wix website?

I use WIx Studio... I LOVE WIX. I disagree with some of the talking points in this video and that may be because this video is seven months old and features have changed or been added, perhaps. Or it could be because I am using the Wix Studio platform for digital agencies. Either way, I find Wix Studio do be superior. I have way more control over design and customization. I find no issues at all with e-commerce features, nor do I find any issues with marketing or social media. All is built into Wix Studio and works flawlessly for me. I appreciate the video and do not mean to throw shade, but my own experience is a little bit different, but that is to be expected. Personally, my vote is Wix... especially the Studio level platform. How do you like the bulk email service built into Wix? There’s really not a lot of info available online, used to mailchimp but curious about theirs. Thanks!

@ the Wix marketing email or bulk email works well. Wix has all the standard features that allow you to set up when the emails are sent, you can create different email lists for different recipients depending on how you set up your websites data collection. The email builder is much like the Mailchimp system for creating HTML emails. That part is almost the same. You can also set automations depending on certain actions from visitors on your site so that a particular email, such as a thank you email or a welcome email are sent, and even a follow up email if you haven’t heard back from a visitor or subscriber. Also, the same is true for the Social Media module. It is set up to make posting to social media platforms very easy. They offer templates or create your own and then set up a posting schedule. Works well for me and my clients so far.

@ ok wow, it sounds pretty robust. It would save us $30-40/mo if we go with wix (mailchimp has went up!). How does wix manage the amount of recipients, they charge extra if over 2000 contacts etc? Just bizarre how powerful of an additional tool this is they’re throwing in for free, but hardly any info/zero detail on their site about it. Appreciate you!!
