Honestly I love your videos especially on e46, my window regulator broke another day and blower motor resistor.. was planning to take it to somebody to replace but watching your videos was actually easy (resistor was pain in the ass) but I managed it and it works. There are alot of videos on same stuff but yours just more detailed and easy to follow, and I saved couple of euros by doing it myself😅👌🏻

I installed this kit on my N55 BMW two years ago. It’s great, except… it catches no oil. Not a defect in the kit at all. But, I think the oil baffling system in the valve cover is good enough.

Installed one on a nissan frontier and not even a week it already caught some oil. I took it off just before the temp went below freezing. Will put it back on this spring

I need help. I have a 2005 E66, that keeps leaking oil from driver side valve cover. I know these cars reputation but I like the car. I've gaskets twice even tried ultra black sealant the whole length of the gasket. How tight is tight on valve cover bolts?

Hi Bud, have to install oil catch can on 2012 E70 X5 with N55 engine, because there no room for one. Like to see, how you over came this issue?

There are a few spots where you can make it fit. You can use the TMS universal catch can kit (linked in description) and buy some of the catch can hose that is linked as well. You can fit it near the DSC/ABS module. It will be tight.

Thanks Kevin, and not yet. VAC just came out with their version of the 4 pin hub as well. Looking into the Insane performance one as well. Once I figure out which one I am going with then I will have a DIY on the whole process. Then we can finally turn up the boost lol

I wonder how many northern climate customers are going to be conscientious enough to clean this catch can as required. We are talking about the vast majority of Americans who are too lazy even to maintain their vehicles or even change their oil as required. Most wouldn't even refuel except under duress. Pretty sure some ambulance chasing attorney is going to file a lawsuit on behalf of the lazy motorist who never did the required maintenance on their engine at all. Haha probably not a good idea for cold climate cars anyways. I am hopeful that most people that modify their cars and that would be following this DIY would keep up with cleaning and emptying the catch can. Happy Holidays to you and your family as well!!
