It's good that you have taken an initiative to talk about toxic relationship...am a Mauritian and I live in Italy and I have been in a relationship with someone who is a punjab...at first everything was good but after some times he made me choose in between my job and himself..so being an emotional fool a chose him but after things started getting worse and I found myself jailed in the house with lots of restrictions and I tried to commit suicide but somehow I got the courage and I reported him to the police and now he is in jail my life is much better and now am taking care of my kids and I have a job ❤❤

okay here I wanna share something, just like jasmeen story. Last year I met a guy who was my friend's boyfriend, and we both started talking to each other and became friends everything was fine until my friend (his gf) started to lose interest in him. Like she used to ignore him and make excuses to avoid talking to him and meeting him and I noticed this but I didn't talked about this to her so after some days she said that she's gonna leave this city and shift to Delhi for her better studies so yeah obviously her bf who was my friend, he started crying because she was gonna leave for some years and I always tried to comfort him and tell him that it's okay you have to wait for her etc etc. Okay now one day we were talking normally, and he confessed... He said that he broke up with her go and he loves me now and not her girlfriend because he also knew now that she doesn't love him anymore but I was not interested in relationships as I wanted to focus on my studies and on myself. So I said no, he said it's okay no problem. but... After some days to 4 months.. He always blackmailed me. He said that I should be his girlfriend or else he will do something with himself and then all the blame will be on me. And this thing.. bro I cant explain through words how much depressed and stressed I was for those months like it affected me mentally but physically too. everyone was able to see it on my face but I was scared to tell them because my parents didn't allow me even a male friend too.. so it doesn't matter if I was not in the with him, for them my mistake was to be friends with him so because of that I didn't tell them. He used to blackmail me everyday he even told his family and his friends about me but he said that I'm his girlfriend while I was NOT. okay now I was reaaallllyyyy sooooo stressed about everything I didn't get enough sleep, I didn't used to eat properly ofc because of the stress he gave me... I also said that I can be friends with you but I'm not ready for a relationship and I'll never be! and this continued for months and now his friends started doing that too. They blackmailed me that they will do things that I won't like (if yk, yk.) and they started stalking me... and I was really so suicidal at that time... I started losing interest in everything and I didn't got a best friend at that time too so that I could share this to them, I had so many friends but its all about trust. so yea I had nobody to share this with.. until one day he said that he'll come to my home with his father, he'll tell him a fake story about us where I was at the fault and because his family knew that he likes me and I was used to be friends with him, they'll believe it too.. and at that day I did not know what to do I was just crying so much in my room and then.. I decided to tell all of this to my father. I called him while I was crying he asked me what happened and ofc I was crying so he became stressed but I told him to calm down and come home then I'll tell him everything. and then I told him everything. whatever he used to say to me, how be blackmailed me and everything... I also told him that it was my fault too cause my parents always told me that if I wanna be friends with someone, I have to tell my parents about the person too. I have to take permission from them. (obviously because they cared for me and wanted good for me) then from that day it all started to get better.. and I started to recover I took therapy sessions and now I'm doing fine (just fine because we all know problems never end in our lives and we will be happy again, just like how there's a brighter morning even after the darkest nights) my mental health is so much more better than before and I'll NEVER trust anybody like this again. and yes I'll tell my parents immediately if something like this happens again. okay so this was my story, I shared this because I wanna tell all the girls or even boys who are going through similar situation that please go and tell your parents about it or someone that you trust and who can give you solution for it. and it's not like I'm comfortable with my parents, no I'm not not everyone shares everything with their parents neither I do. And if its like that with you like if you're afraid of telling your parents about it then its okay I understand but they are the one who'll help you out, just tell them. Everything will be alright.

I had a history of stalking to the point I had to shift to another state. Changed my number but he got the new number within a month. You won't believe how many numbers I had to block bcz the guy wont just quit it. This continued for 3 years. Even when we filed a complaint, police didnt do much and this triggered him even more.
