I miss browsing and shopping at Daiso, there's not one in my city in central California but when I when I would visit my mom in Gardena, CA..(L.A. county), I always went to Daiso close to my moms home and went home with a couple or three bags full from Daiso! Lol Gardena is mostly a Japanese community, but some Chinese and Korean restaurants and shops that I grew up with and every year, we go to the Obon festival at the Buddhist Temple close to my mom's house. At least Daiso has a website but it's not as fun as walking around the store. Even when me and my husband and I would go to San Francisco, there's two Daiso's I know of, that I've been too. It's just us two but I buy a few things for my nieces and my sister. I can't wait till it's all ok to go out again and life back real normal and I'm going to visit mom first for a few days and go to Daiso before I drive back home! 😁💖... The Daiso's I've been to, the cashier's put the merchandise in the bag for you. No tray for the money to pay but that's a good idea to have a tray on their counters but Americans aren't accustomed to do that, lol 😉

I love Daiso. We have a few in the area. Fortunately not too convenient. lol Otherwise I'd be there too often. lol I wish those face masks were more acceptable to wear in the US too, exactly for the same reasons you mentioned! I think it has too much of a stigma here, freaks people out a bit much. I think it would help so much if people did, whether they were sick or trying to prevent catching something.

They are a paper coated in something shiny, so it doesn't absorb all the liquid so quickly. Omg they would totally put dollar tree out of business 😂

There's multiple Daiso's in the US! I go to the one in Little Tokyo in LA all the time and it's pretty much the same, you can follow their Instagram for updates of new store locations that have opened up recently.

Your daughter is too cute... so hard for the impulse buying when the items are so inexpensive. I also ended up picking up a TSA lock for all the stuff I got from Daiso so I can check in the carry-on lol. Love the panda bobble head too.
