I was intrigued about what there xl actual equated to in H&M as big girls (I’m also 18/20) we know L and XL can vary, so I looked on their website and apparently the xl is 20/22 and they go up to 2xl in all clothes and knitwear and jersey items go up to 4xl which amazed me I’ve never seen those sizes on anything in H&M.

I absolutely love h&m, im a size 14 and it's my go to for everything!! Never had a problem with their sizing. Its the only shop I can find pants that are long enough but small in the waist for my kid!

I love Matalan! I shop online though. I agree about h&m - small sizing and no good if you're looking for a larger size. Next is overpriced and I think even their sale is overpriced. I wear a lot of blue because it matches my eyes 😂 Enjoyed the video Demi ❤️

Matalan is one of the places I go to most. Such cute baby stuff, lovely home stuff and I love their clothes too. I also got a nice pair of trainers from there recently and they look expensive and are so comfortable xx

I agree with H&M, the sizing is sooo bizarre! I do like a bit of a look in next but mainly for work clothes rather than every day, the quality used to be even better but I think it's changed in recent years. Ive never bothered with Matalan! I notice you were drawn to the orange stuff a lot, have you considered a bit more BLUE?

I used to work at Matalan, they’ve gotten sooo much better then how it used to be. When I worked there, they did have a specific area in the shop where they stocked sizes 20+. I think their winter stuff is better tbh

I try to avoid H&M cos when I was a size 12 the clothing still came up small & made me feel crap . I’m currently a size 16 so I definitely avoid goin in there now

I went in the other day, I’m a 12-14 and 5ft 9 and a size 16 didn’t even fit me, made me feel so unhappy about my body. But I know clothes are meant to fit us, not the other way round 🥺🥰

Definitely online for H&M lovely! I buy more online than I do in store! They stock up to a size 28 and they offer free delivery/C&C if you’re a member and spend over £20! Love this idea. 💡Maybe do a online haul on shops you never normally shop?

I love some bits from Matalan’s home section, but I’ve never found bits I’ve liked from their clothes. H&M I loooove for basics, pyjamas and graphic T-shirts. Their 3/4XL fits me and I’m a big girl.

You should do this but with food places! One place I always go to but is usually at the bottom of other people's top preferences is Pound Bakery. Hi Demi...there are stores here as well that i have had a hard time finding things to wear...I am partial to the Color Blue, however i also like Yellow. i have always had a hard time finding things that fit me and look nice at the same time...i wrestle with my belly, i have a hard time finding things that make me look slimmer: After having so many surgeries, i have a permanent Muffin top and it pisses me off!!! Shoes are another nemesis of mine, i have wide feet, so i rarely find any sexy heels that fit me; it angers me that there aren't enough designers for my body type, and styles...i may have to start sewing and making my own...i hope you are well, say hi to Sean, your family and pups...Much Love and Be Well💛

Matalan reminds me of my mums fashion too, and their sizing isn't for anyone over 5ft6. H&m in autumn is fantastic any other time I don't bother unless I buy kids wear. But I find the sizing spot on

Matalan at Kingston park in Newcastle have a plus size section which is size inclusive but k find it to be quite frumpy in the plus size section

Love this video concept! Just watched your part 2 aswell. Matalan definitley gives me Mum vibes. I like Next I think their clothes last a long time, they have certain ranges that are meant to be sustainable cotton but I don’t know if that’s just greenwashing. I absolutely hate H&M - there’s something about it that just makes me instantly feel shit about myself, I am size 12-14 and the clothes never fit me properly, especially over the boobs as I have a bigger bust. The sizing is so off and everything always just seems so unflattering. Deffo would love to see part 3 of this Demi! ❤ Does Sean like shopping in Blue Inc? 👀

Items by far. If by sizing, you'll have to sort through everything before u find what u want (works for window shoppers), but if you're out because you need a pair of jeans, u'd want jeans by style stacked together

Loved this video Demi, something different! And I agree Matalan u have to find hidden gems. Their home stuff is good but clothes very hit and miss. Next is so overpriced for what it is. And H&M has awful sizing! I can be anything from a 12-18 in H&M and I HAVE to try everything on in H&M coz I never know if it’ll fit. Also the Next at silverlink is such a fancy massive building for like no reason 🤣every-time I’ve gone in there’s hardly anyone in 🤣 love the video xx

I dont know about your matalan but the one where I live has a section that is size 18-30 maybe yours just doesn't have that section. Also I've always found Next to be stupidly expensive and I refuse to pay the prices

Great video Demi, I also agree with H&M their sizing is all not accurate at all, I personally shop a lot at New Look and Asos both true to size and sometimes with New Look I have to downsize which always makes me feel good!😂✨ they both also do a variety of size ranges to suit every body shape which is good, I also have to be careful with tops as I can also easily look too booby!! Hmmm I don’t think so you would have to check the website first before going in store. I usually shop on the website I’m a size 14 I usually wear a XL T-shirts the fit is smaller so I go up a size XL fits well.

Matalan had so much colour - then you go in the gym section & it’s all drab colours - why can’t they do fun bright colours in the gym wear as well? Makes no sense to me.
