Where I live there are no bareroot trees available. Also the cherry trees I buy die every year, on the summer time. I have no clue why yet, but I was wondering what if I remove the soil to the dormant potted trees in winter and then plant them like a bareroot?

+nemodot Many nurseries pot their barefoot order. You can plant a container tree any time. Fruit trees don't like to be over watered, so if you plant a cherry tree in a lawn, or over water it, it will die. Good drainage is also key. If you have poor drainage, elevate the planting. Or cut back on your irrigating, let the soil dry somewhat between waterings.

Also, How do I notice that bareroot window season?

+nemodot Bareroot season starts in the Winter, after trees go dormant, and ends shortly after Spring, when they leaf out.

Dave Wilson Nursery I knew that, just thought it was a short period of time in winter.
