Im just thinkin. Do you think that the calliper will try n twist when you brake. Idk im jus tryin to cover all the bases. Over time atleast. Looking at it, i dont think it will twist or snap. The forward motion of the disc rotor will not put any extra pressure on one side or another, it looks like it will direct most of the pressure directly downward toward the bar the caliper mount is welded to. HE might as well add another mount to the other side however, But it should be fine, it aint goin nowhere

That thing is lookin and driving good!! My buddy did a really similar thing with a radioflyer wagon, shifter kart wheels, tires, and brakes and a pit bike engine as well. It's funny how good yours and his both turned out. I know they're a blast to drive since I've got to pilot a few backyard builds like this, but yours looks great for your first time around. Great job on the shopping kart build so far. Have you thought about flipping the pedal mechanism over? It would probably give you better feeling if the pedal was traveling in an upside-down arch pattern. I know space is a probably a concern. You should also weld a tab on the other side of the caliper like you mentioned in the video. Keep it up, man. That thing is sick. Can't wait for the turbo.

You should extend the shopping cart handle out, so it's more prominent... Just in case you need to push it around... Maybe put a little red LED strip to act as a brake light for added utility. :D

word of advice: you need to flip that brake disk around, the slots should be flowing upwards to help expel the heat better. you're now keeping the heat in. it shouldn't be hard to do, and it will perform much better.
