I agree with Sinade. They both have their downfalls, but as Drew said online has the edge with the variety. Plus you can take your time to browse online compared to instore. But instore you know how everything feels and fits right away. Still prefer to shop onpine tho especially once I can return it. (Even tho I hate returns)

I like in store shopping mainly because the waiting for 8 days to 2 weeks is the worst. Then, hoping it gets to my door without someone stealing it is an issue.

I love H&M’s and buy a lot from them, especially online, and then return it for free in store. I searched for color, or good right to things like skirts, and use the filters and goes for mid calf length, or for the modern classic section. Like I know my H&M’s like my back pocket and where to find anything I would love and adore 😆🥰 I do sometimes scroll and look around, but it all depends. I more and more buy things in different sizes, so it is easy to try and get the size I need and return if it doesn’t fit. Online they don’t have 3 for 2 on kids basic, like tanks, but there variety are so much better so I just buy them online either way. I love some good layering tops from the kid section. I am only 160cm/5”3, but very busty and I personally don’t like to show cleavage and the kid tanks is higher up, and very elastic. I don’t care if others show cleavage, you do you, and I do me 😁🥰 Love from Johanne, Norway

I know with H&M it also depends on where you are. I can go to my local mall and they have nothing, but I can go into the city and it's a whole new experience. And for lingerie I know some places they have a separate store just for that. Swimwear is going to be crappy because season changing....

I would love to see this video done again post-COVID because I think that's a factor that should be considered. I'm plus sized and right now I've been having a harder time finding clothes in store (not just H&M but other stores as well) than pre-COVID times because they are not getting as much stock as they are used to. There is more of a demand than there is a supply in all different department stores. No matter what store I go to and no matter if I'm looking for clothes or home decor or furniture, etc. there isn't a lot of product to choose from in general.

one thing that isn't mentioned is RETURNS. I inevitably have to return some things from my online purchase, and if there isn't free returns by mail, then you have to lug everything to the store and wait in line anyways. But you are totally right, it is SO much harder to find my size in store

I'll only shop online if there isn't a store near me, if the item is only available online, or in poshmark, ebay, etc. Returns don't always have free shipping and it causes more waste in the environment in packaging and emissions when shipping.

In Sweden the stores are so messy, some clothes aren't organized and it's like they just put things where there is room. However, the accecories are way better here than the store you were in. Anyway, I prefer online when it comes to H&M. It's easy to find what you are looking for and you can put items into favorites and come back later to make a decison.

I'm much more of a shopping in store person. I hate the idea of waiting for days for something to arrive and then not having it fit, and then it having to go back if it doesn't fit. Whereas I can just go in store, try it on, buy it, and wear it right away. I have obviously got into online shopping a bit more over the pandemic, but I still find all the choice almost a bit too overwhelming sometimes haha

I think the in store vs online shopping debate truly depends on the type of store(is it a h&m or a Ross) and then I think it also depends on the location because some H&M’s have different things depending on where u go

I went to H&M in store recently and the sizes were ridiculous. I got one thing in an extra small, one in small, another in medium and two things in a size large. I'd never get those sizes if I were shopping online. I'd probably get it all in a medium, but my proportions are so extremely hourglass that all sizes fit me depending on where they clothe me. I wish I could do it online, and I look at a lot of clothes online, but I never buy it because I don't like the returns life and taxes are high when you import to where I live. Basically, I stick to shoes if I go online

I buy from h&m online all of the time because they have some really good deals but it can be very hit or miss. The quality is usually pretty good, but The sizing is always super messed up; especially their bottoms sizing.

I think it’d be cool to see these ladies shop for and style mid and plus sized women. Just to see and fully understand how much of a struggle it can be to find the right size, fit is very different, style is inconsistent. I just think it’d be kinda eye opening and fun to see.
